            Eric Lipton Named To PSIA National Team!

    On Friday May 2, 2008 the selection process for the PSIA-AASI National Teams came to a close. Out of 94 Alpine candidates, three (3) members from the PSIA Eastern Division were selected. We are pleased, and very proud, to announce that one of Blue Mountain's own Snowsports staff was chosen to that elite team of Instructor/Skier/Ambassadors.

   Eric Lipton, of Pottsville, Pa., spent the week at Mammoth Mountain in California being tested on his skiing skills, teaching abilities and knowledge of the ski industry. The snow conditions were varied, the questions were tough but Eric proved to have what it takes to be a member of the PSIA National Team for the next four years.

   Eric started his ski teaching career in Blue Mountain's Skiwee Children's program, now known as the Explorer program, and has worked at several other areas learning his craft to prepare for this stage of his career. We are proud to have Eric call Blue Mountain his home and wish him the best as a PSIA National Team member.

Today Blue Mountain Snowsports School's members number over 300.

With three facilities, Ski, Snowboard,Explorer (children specific) and Racing programs, we are committed to staying on the leading edge of snowsports education with the latest in methodology, technology,and

equipment.

Our goal is to foster lifelong relationships with snowsports.
We inspire learning by combining state of the art facilities
with our warm, friendly,and highly skilled staff in a safe and fun environment to ensure a memorable educational experience
