The Blue Mountain Instructor Training Course is designed for anyone interested in becoming a snowsports instructor. ITC participants will be introduced to the world of snowsports instruction by some of Blue Mountain's top pros. Our pros will elevate your personal skiing or riding as well as your understanding of the sport. You will be introduced to the Blue Mountain environment, our people, our facilities, our terrain and most importantly, how we teach snowsports

Small ITC groups ensure plenty of personal attention. Your clinic leader will assess your skiing/riding skills as well as your aptitude for teaching.Ample time will be given for individual feedback and personal improvement. You will be introduced to Blue Mountain's method for teaching beginners and become aquainted with PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) and AASI (American Association of Snowboard Instructors) and their teaching model for both skiers and riders. You will see the great impact these organizations have in snowsports

Successful ITC candidates will be invited to take part in Blue Mountains apprentice program. This program is comprised of both on-snow and indoor clinics. Both clinic forms are designed to further enhance and fine tune your skiing/riding and teaching skill set. Training in live lesson scenarios follows and leads to a smooth transition as a future member of our snowsports staff.

How do you get started on your way to enjoying winter like never before?

ou must be at least 16 yrs of age by Jan. 1st 2009.

You must at least be an intermediate skier or rider looking to improve.


 ·  
Be an energetic and enthusiastic individual who enjoys sharing their sport with others.

Be able and willing to commit to a schedule from December 1st through March 31st.
